Ashley R. Vasquez, Esq., is a seasoned legal professional with a passion for justice and a track record of excellence. Her journey in the legal field began in 2015 when she embarked on her law school odyssey, culminating in her graduation in 2019, where she achieved the remarkable distinction of being ranked 4th in her class at UOP, McGeorge School of Law.
During her academic pursuits, Ashley dedicated three years to honing her advocacy skills in moot court at McGeorge. In her second year, she showcased her oral advocacy prowess, advancing to the top 8 in the school's Annual Global Lawyering Skills competition. Notably, her appellate brief earned a nomination for the best brief, and she secured 2nd place overall in the prestigious Chicago Bar Association Competition. Adding to her achievements, Ashley clinched the 3rd position in the Saul Leftkowitz competition.
In 2018, Ashley gained valuable insights into the legal system through an externship with the honorable Judge England with the Federal Court for the Eastern District of California. Her dedication to the profession bore fruit in 2019 when she successfully passed the bar and officially entered the realm of legal practice.
Early in her career, Ashley sat as the second chair in a homicide trial in late 2019, foreshadowing her future successes. Her legal acumen played a significant role in a federal conspiracy trial, resulting in a not guilty verdict and showcasing her ability to navigate complex legal landscapes.
Since opening her private practice Ashley R. Vasquez now serves as lead counsel in Criminal Law matters and Family Law matters. Her Criminal Law experience spans a wide array of charges, including resisting arrest, assault, child endangerment, grand theft, weapons and drug charges, robbery, auto theft and evading, DUIs, and more.
